CW-TGL-4L 11th Generation NAS board - PCIe HBA Card Issues

HBA card confirmed genuine and healthy (1000:0097) in another PC, but enumerates as 1000:009F at PCIe Gen1 on motherboard even with Gen3 forced and Above 4G Decoding enabled. 

Does a genuine LSI/Avago 9300 or 9207-series HBA work in that PCIe slot on this board model?  Do other cards work?  If so, which ones? 

I have tried taping off pincs 5+6 without success.

Please help.
