Q670 and NVME drives issue at boot/reboot

I bought last year this motherboard:
CWWK Q670 LGA 1700 NAS Mainboard 6 Bay, 4 x i226 2.5GbE LAN Mini ITX Motherboard with 6× SATA3.0, 6× NVMe PC Motherboards with 2x DDR5, Barebone, vPro, PCIe x16 (without CPU,with Adapters)
The BIOS says: CW-Q670-NAS-4L-4X1 but I woult trust 100% this to be the perfect BIOS for it. May be it is?

It's basically the first model black (not white) with 4x 2.5Gbps and 1x PCIe 5.0, 2 sata on motherboard, 1 SAS connector with split cable to 4x SATA and 1x SFF-8643
SSD1 (Front): PCIe 4.0 4x.
SSD2 (Back): PCIe 3.0 4x.
SSD3 (Back): PCIe 4.0 4x.
On this system that currently runs over SATA as a workaround, I have two NVME drives installed but for some reason they appear (or not) randomly like "none", "1" or "2" after a reboot or a cold boot. So I can't install the OS on them.
I fiddled with the PCIe settings a lot with no result but eventually found this info online:
Turn on the board and hold down the Delete key to enter the BIOS.
Navigate to Chipset -> System Agent (SA) Configuration -> Graphics Configuration.
Locate the Yellow Screen Workaround option.
Press Enter, highlight Enabled, and click. This will unhide a much larger list of chipset and PCIe configuration settings.
2. Resolving NVMe and PCIe Bifurcation
This motherboard does not natively support complex PCIe splitting (such as bifurcating a single x16 slot into x8/x8).
For 4x NVMe PCIe adapter cards, you must set the slot to 1×4 PCIe 3.0 instead of 4×1.
Because standard BIOS settings usually do not expose this correctly, many users report needing a custom BIOS flash (such as the "Q670 4L 1x4 BIOS") to get all 4 M.2 slots on an adapter card to recognize under 1×4.
My CPU is a 13600T which according to the documentation supports bifurcation.
So two questions:

If I had to guess it's CW-NAS-Q670-4L-6P-4M2_4x1-2024-10-30.iso but I really would like an expert to confirm/correct as the last thing I want is to brick the motherboard.
2- Most importantly, can anyone helpo on how to set up PCIe bifurcation, since I don't appear to have the Yellow Screen Workaround option in the BIOS?

If you are using this expansion board, please install the 4x1 version BIOS. The 8643 PCIe 3.0 x4 signal can be split into four separate x1 lanes.
Should you require the 8643 to connect to a PCIe peripheral or a single NVMe M.2 drive, switch to the 1x4 mode to configure the signal as a single consolidated PCIe x4 channel.Lane splitting for the onboard PCIe x16 slot cannot be adjusted via BIOS settings. Its lane configuration is hardware-defined by onboard resistors, with only two operational modes available: full x16 or dual x8/x8.
Step-by-step instructions to reconfigure this hardware setting are included in the BIOS file directory.

I do not use any additional borad, I have plugged the NVME directly on the board itself specifically the 1st and 3rd in this list.

I'm progressing with this. I now have the nvme expansion board from your pic attached to the 8643 port, the situation somehow changed as I can now constantly see one nvme only at POST. Still the second is missing (although it's working!)
So in an attempt to resolve this new position:
1 - My BIOS is already 4X1, is there anything I can change in the BIOS settings to try have all the nvme operational on the expansion board?
2 - and/or since my motherboard reports:
CW-Q670-NAS-4L-4X1
Version T13
would and upgrad to e.g. the Gen4 BIOS (T14) perhaps help?

If you only utilize the onboard NVMe slots of the motherboard, there is no fundamental difference between any BIOS versions. Distinguishing between x1 and x4 lanes is only required when using four NVMe expansion cards.
If you fail to download the file, try switching browsers or using a download assistant. We have conducted tests, and downloads should work under normal circumstances.
If your current system operates without bugs, a BIOS upgrade is not recommended. Only upgrade if you encounter functional issues.
