Hello, I bought a CW-AT-10G-8P-N355 board a couple weeks ago and mounted it in a Jonsbo case with a SFX power supply and 16 GB DDR5 SODIMM 1Rx8 PC5-5600B 1.1V by Transcend. The machine booted a couple of time and I was able to install a Linux system. A couple of days ago, I rebooted the machine and it did not booted up.

I did not attempt to flash the BIOS (I did not find any new version of the BIOS either).

I try to pinpoint the issue by deconnecting all the SATA cables and NVMe. I tested with another ATX power supply. Still I cannot have any POST on the video output.

When I start the machine, the boards do gets power as the 10G ethernet ports led lights up and the supplied fan start to spin on the CPU but everything comes to a halt a couple of seconds later. I also tried to resocket the RAM DIMM or change/remove the CR2032 with not much more success.

Any thought on how to get it to power on ? Do I RMA the board to CWWK ?

Thank you

BTW what is the process to contact CWWK customer support ?

    Hi,

I have this board too. But I have another problem with it, my 10GbE NIC is not working not seen by the OS (Linux and Windows).

lspci gives no output. But about your problem.

The fan of the CPU is spinning? Do you hear a beep? Connecting the monitor via HDMI?

If so? Try connecting the monitor via the Display Port. That was for me an issue.

What can help too is resetting the BIOS via the black reset knop between the DisplayPort.and USB-C connectors.

    Kind Regards,

    Tom

1.Please try a minimal boot: install only the power supply (and of course, ensure the CPU cooler fan is properly connected), and remove everything else you can see. Check whether the system emits beep codes.

2.install the memory module(s), then attempt to power on the system. Note how many beeps it makes and identify any pattern in the beeping sequence.

3.Replace the memory with modules from another brand—such as Samsung or Crucial—and repeat steps 1 and 2.

4.If all the above steps proceed smoothly, try powering on the system without connecting a monitor, but ensure a wired USB keyboard is properly attached. After powering on, check whether the Num Lock LED on the keyboard lights up. Also, test if pressing the Num Lock key toggles its LED on and off.

    Hello, I check with all your recommendations;

    - I do not have any output in the HDMI port or even on the DisplayPort.

    - I try to boot the board with the minimum elements: only the power supply 24 pins cables plus the 4 pins one and the power button and the DDR5 RAM stick (I even removed the CR2032 battery) -> I have the same behavior: the PSU powers up and the CPU fan start to to rotate and 5 seconds later, the board and the PSU shuts off.

    - As I read another post on this forum about the low wattage of the board which can confuse the PSU if the power level of the PSU is higher, I tested with two NVMe and the case FAN connecter as well as the CR2032 battery, the RAM stick and both PSU cables. Still the board start but stop 5 seconds later.

    - I also tried another ATX PSU (connecting both the 24 pins and the 4 pins cables) with the same result.

    - The only other element I was not able to test is the SODIMM DDR5 memory module as I do not have one laying around :-/ It's reality a bad time to have to buy another stick of DDR5 RAM only to validate that the board boots or not :-/

BTW @loodd Do you have a RAM compatibilty reference for the CW-AT-10G-8P-N355 board ? Maybe some references that you know to be compatible ? Maybe Crucial CT16G48C40S5 ?
