I purchased this MiniPC from the official online store a month ago: CWWK 12th Gen Intel Firewall Mini PC (CPU Intel N150).

During testing, the system consistently crashes when running MemTest86. I have already tried replacing the RAM with a brand-new module, but the issue persists.

Details:

- No SSD or NVMe drives installed

- BIOS settings are at factory default

- Memory: 16GB Corsair DDR5 4800MHz

- Tested with additional cooling by using an external fan to rule out thermal issues

- Tested with an alternative 12V 5A power supply

The crashes occur under all of the above conditions.
What solutions or troubleshooting steps would you recommend? Could you also advice the warranty service process?

Thanks very much.

Based on the symptoms you've described, the issue is likely due to incompatible memory or a damaged memory slot. We recommend trying memory with a timing of C40, preferably from brands such as Samsung or Crucial, with a frequency of 4800 or 5600. Regarding the after-sales process, please consult the store where you made the purchase, as they are responsible for handling it. If no one from the sales team responds, you can contact me for follow-up and supervision.

Hi Kris007, I had similar issues in the past with another minipc really similar to yours (mine is N305 not N150), like having memtest failing everytime. I tried doing memtest with a big fan pointing to the PC and the errors were gone! So I suppose it's a thermal issues for the system or memory that causing some bit flipping. so you can try with a big fan if you have issues. but this is a bad workaround ...
you should try changing PL1 and PL2 from the bios, limiting the max TDP when turbo-boosting.
I solved this exactly in this way, by limiting the PL1 and PL2 following the intel specifications (here)
