Hello,

I have an I9 12900HX

I would like to know if it is compatible with one of these motherboards before purchasing.

    Hi,

This is quite an adventurous attempt—we haven't tried it ourselves. After checking the relevant information, I found it involves a modified ("Frankenstein") CPU with a C0 stepping, which also uses the LGA1700 socket.

Instead, I'd recommend you consider this motherboard:

Q670 8-Bay NAS Mini ITX Motherboard (Upgraded Version).

It has performed some basic compatibility matching for certain ES (Engineering Sample) CPUs. However, please note that this does not guarantee full compatibility, as we haven't tested it ourselves. There's still a possibility of incompatibility.

So, please be mentally prepared for potential issues.

Of course, if you have the capability to manually update the microcode yourself, we do provide the BIOS binary files. This would allow you to explore further modifications and potentially achieve better compatibility through custom adjustments.

    Good luck!
