Hi, I have purchased the i5-12405H board and need a technical support on how to enable bifurcation of the PCIe x8 slot to x4x4 in BIOS. I need to use 2 another SSDs on an expansion card there. I have the expansion card with disks connected, but only see 1 disk enumerated in BIOS. But I have not found any PCIe bifurcation setup options in the BIOS. Yes, I have the i5-12405H version, not U300E. Please help. Thanks, Adam

Regarding the issue you raised, we have confirmed with the R&D team that the current motherboard chipset does support the split function. However, enabling this feature requires a BIOS upgrade, as the current default configuration is set to PCIe x8 signal allocation.

To enable the PCIe x4+x4 signal split, BIOS adaptation and reallocation of the PCIe signals will be necessary.

The application for adapting the PCIe signal split to x4+x4 has been approved, and the related BIOS development is currently in progress. The expected completion time is approximately one week.

If you require further technical details or assistance, please feel free to let us know.
